Assistance For Volunteers To Attend The ConferenceCountry Arts WA is keen to see as many people as possible from regional WA involved in the arts attend the Regional WA State Arts Conference, PULSE. Funding has been made available from the Australian Government’s Regional Arts Fund and the Mid West Development Commission to assist volunteers from regional WA with travel costs, accommodation and conference registration fees. What assistance is available?Conference Registration All volunteer delegates can apply for Conference Registration Fee assistance at the early bird rate of $355.00 including GST.
Travel and Accommodation Volunteer delegates can apply for Travel and Accommodation costs assistance for return travel to Denmark and the necessary accommodation costs to attend PULSE.
Applications for the full amount needed for registration, travel and accommodation costs will be considered, but delegates who have already sourced some part of their financial assistance from their own community arts organisations, local government or any other available source will be at an advantage. Applications from volunteer delegates in the north of the State will be prioritised.
Travel assistance funds are limited. Please ensure that you do not confirm your travel plans until Country Arts WA has confirmed the amount of your assistance grant.
Who can apply for this assistance?Any regional West Australia resident Volunteer working for a community based organisation can apply for assistance to attend PULSE.
Grants can only be paid to a community based organisation holding an ABN, not to an individual.
Applications are encouraged for more than one delegate from a single community based organisation where travel and accommodation costs will be shared amongst the group.

Artflight is a travel program designed to assist professional Western Australian artists and arts workers to attend events of local, national and international significance. Applications from regionally based individuals; arts focused and not-for-profit organisations are welcome. Assistance will be available to offset travel (air and/or ground transport) and freight costs associated with attending the Conference.
